If you are one of those who loves camping, you will love camping at the Cangrejal River<\/a>. There are two different camping sites at the Cangrejal River where you can do so with safety and comfort. The first, is the property where La Moskitia Eco Aventuras<\/a> has its headquarters. They are on Km 10 of the La Ceiba<\/a> to Yaruca road, just before arriving to El Naranjo Village. The facility is designed for their rafting tours; however they do have some concrete platforms distributed throughout the property where you can pitch a tent. These are for large tents, and they even offer twin beds to go in the tent for your comfort! They offer all the camping equipment, which means that you do not need to bring your own!<\/p>\n

The facilities at La Moskitia Eco Aventuras have bathrooms and showers, so your camping will have a good level of comfort. The tents are pitched on large concrete platforms under huge trees that shelter you from the hot sun rays during the day, even on the warmest of days. It’s proximity to the Cangrejal River ensures that you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the water racing towards the Caribbean Sea. There is even a barbeque grill where you can cook your own meat. Of course, you will have to bring your own meat and charcoal to do so.<\/p>\n

\"Camping

Next to the river you will find a large platform with some concrete benches. This is an ideal spot to relax and have a nice conversation with your friends. There you can share the fun experiences of your daily adventure and plan the activities for the following day. Make sure that you consider the hike to El Bejuco Waterfall on El Mapache trail<\/a>. This is one of the most popular trails in Pico Bonito National Park<\/a>. The other activity that is well worth your time here is rafting down the Cangrejal Rive<\/a>r.
