Club La Vela is one of the few restaurants located right on the beach in La Ceiba. It is delightful spot which is absolutely ideal for families, facilities include kid’s games, a large swimming pool to enjoy, direct access to the beach, a large dining area under a very nice extensive thatched room. This is as tropical as it gets! Their menu is extensive, and offers a bit of everything, from basic and affordable to elegant and more expensive. Outstanding ceviches, as well as some shrimp dishes are probably the best seafood dishes available.

During the day, Club La Vela is a family style business, perfect for families, however once the night sets in, it transforms itself into a party scene. On Sunday afternoons, this is by far the best spot for local live music. Club La Vela is open daily from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m., however they usually close later on Sundays.
